Privacy notice

Last updated 2026-06-06

This notice explains how Verkare AB (“Verkare”, “we”) handles personal data in connection with this website, verkare.com, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This website collects nothing automatically

verkare.com is a static website. Browsing it uses no analytics, no tracking cookies, and loads no third-party content. We do not profile visitors and we set no cookies. Simply visiting these pages leaves no personal data with us — the only time the site contacts a third party is if you choose to submit the email signup form (see “Email updates” below).

If you email us

The site links to [email protected], for example to request Krill beta access. If you choose to email us, we process your email address and the contents of your message only to read and respond to your enquiry. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We keep such correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up, then delete it.

The Krill plugin

The Krill plugin itself operates entirely locally and does not automatically transmit your models, CAD data, or any personal data. See the End-User License Agreement (section 5) for details.

Email updates

If you sign up for Krill updates, we process your email address to send occasional product updates and to let you know when Krill leaves beta. The lawful basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)): you give it on the signup form and confirm it by clicking the link in a confirmation email (double opt-in). You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing [email protected].

Our email provider is MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Lithuania), acting as our processor under a data processing agreement; your data is stored within the EU. We use it only for these updates and do not share it further.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability, to the extent these apply. To exercise any of these, email [email protected].

If you believe we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
